The Alice High School volleyball teams had an exceptional start to their season on Tuesday night. They swept Woodsboro in their season-opening matches. The freshmen team showcased their skills, winning 25-19 and 25-12. The junior varsity team followed suit, securing victories of 25-20 and 25-14. The varsity squad concluded the night with a dominant performance, defeating Woodsboro 25-17, 25-22, and 25-12. This impressive debut marked the first season under the leadership of first-year head coach Mariah Mandel. The Lady Coyotes began their 2025 campaign with solid wins across all levels of competition.
