Program Dates: June 3 – June 27, 2025 (Monday–Friday) Time: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Program Details:

• **ESL Pre-K through 1st Grade Summer School** (Hosted at Noonan Elementary): For Limited English Proficient (LEP) students eligible for admission to Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade in the 2025–2026 school year.
• 1st – 5th Grade Summer School (Hosted at Noonan & Schallert Elementary):

  Required for students who:

  • Have an overall average below 70 in ELAR or Math.
  • Have 18+ absences, failing to meet the state’s 90% attendance requirement.
  • Are in danger of not meeting grade-level STAAR expectations.

Daily Schedule:

• Breakfast: 7:40 – 8:00 a.m.
• Classes: 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Lunch & Dismissal: 12:30 p.m.

Important Notes:

• Summer school staff will work June 2–27.
• Students must attend 90% of summer school days (17+ days).
• Students may lose privileges due to behavior per the Student Code of Conduct.

Bus schedules will be announced later.

Zoning Note:

Dubose & Schallert students (grades 1–5) will attend Schallert Elementary.

Saenz & Noonan students (grades 1–5) will attend Noonan Elementary.
