Dr. Amanda Mendietta Director of Special education and Section 504 Services
Dr. Amanda Mendietta serves Alice Independent School District as the Director of Special Education. She has over 20 years in the education field working with special education. Her passion is working to advocate for the educational growth and success of students with special needs. She was born and raised in Kingsville, Texas. Dr. Mendietta studied at Texas A&M University-Kingsville earning a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Human Development & Family Studies, a Master of Science in Special Education, a Master of Arts in Psychology, and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership. Her education has been driven by a desire to offer more to the education field.
