Counselors

Mission
The mission of the Alice Independent School District Counseling Department is to assist our students in acquiring the academic skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for a healthy learning environment. In partnership with educators, parents, and community members, the school counselors support the educational system to ensure that all students are prepared in order to become effective individuals, responsible citizens, productive workers, and lifelong learners in a changing world.
Our school counseling program is designed to encourage student-to-counselor relationships in which each student is valued and able to recognize his or her own self-worth. As a result, each student will feel that he or she is valued as a member of the school community.
Our program provides important benefits to each student by addressing their intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and psychological needs. We believe that every student should be given the opportunity to succeed in their current and future endeavors.
