Mission Statement

The mission of the Alice Independent School District, as total community educational system committed to excellence, with primary emphasis on the pre-k to 12 program, is to graduate students who, through participation in a quality instruction program, in innovative and challenging educational experiences, and in creative partnerships with the community, will develop self system, moral values, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills which will prepare them to become responsible, productive citizens of the 21st century.

Welcome

Alice ISD serves over 5,200 students in Pre-K thru grade 12. Located in the "Hub City of South Texas", Alice has come a long way since its first school in 1888.

Currently there are six elementary schools, two intermediate campuses, one middle school and one 4A high school. Three of six elementary campuses have been rebuilt in the last six years. The middle school is currently being rebuilt and soon to be ready for students. Approval has been given to rebuild the two intermediate school campuses. Alice ISD is definitely a school district looking to the future.
